Arrived at hotel reception and was asked for passports to copy and said I would wait, however 10 minutes later I had to ask if they were finished, which they were and the passports were in pigeon hole for room. We were sitting a few metres in front of the staff, with no other guests appearing g whilst there, so no excuse to leave us for 10 minutes. Location isn't great either, as certainly not centrally located for visiting the centre of Verona. Quality of food at breakfast was also quite poor, although there was a good variety to choose from. Barman was friendly, although bar closed very early. As we arrived at the airport we realised that we had left 2 nespresso cups that we had purchased in Verona costing €21. I wrote to the hotel and they advised they had them but the quotes to courier were more expensive than the cups eventually, I was offered a relatively small price to courier, which the hotel could easily have covered from a customer service perspective, however they chose to advise that I'd they did this with everyone the costs would accumulate. Having spent 4 nights there and also spending money at the bar, surely the cost of €7 could have been absorbed, but the hotel chose not to do so. Overall, this hotel certainly does not merit a 4 star rating.

This hotel management have no sense how to do hotel business. The toilet are unclean & commode flush is not working , the underwear of previous customer was hanging in bathroom , there is no hot water to tap, waiter is serving hot water bucket from out side, the room was unclean when we check in. The manager is not worry about our complaint. Don't take any risk to stay this hotel.

We checked in Gilbert Manali on 16 March 2017 and must say it was a memorable stay. The staff are very courteous. The rooms are very good. The dinner and breakfast spread was amazing. Looking forward for another stay at this hotel Helpful?

Though they have large spacious rooms, the building is not well maintained. The room and accessories look very old. The staff is very friendly; even after vacating the room, they kept our luggage safe till we boarded the bus. Walkable distance from Mall Road and Hidimba Temple. The room had big windows with great view of the snow-clad hills. Wifi is not available in rooms on the second floor.

I bet you would never get such a cheap deal in an online offer. This hotel is centrally located near by mall road. As its a very very budget hotel you can't expect more. Even hot water 24^7 is difficult thing. Compact rooms with decent beds for a good snap after busy outing. You could hear sound from next room if it is too high.
